MEET OUR TEAM

While we often build out our crew to meet each projects specification, our team is spearheaded by the following friendly faces:

Sarah Kuck

Director

Sarah Kuck is an Austin-based director and field producer working on a variety of documentary, narrative and commercial projects. First and foremost she considers herself a storyteller, always seeking to place human emotions and empathy at the focal point of the projects she works on. Her production company Present Medium develops content locally and internationally, and has partnered with local crews in cities like Nairobi, Istanbul, Manila, Mumbai and New Delhi.

Her current film TARCILA won best overall short from the Santa Fe International Film Festival, and recently screened at the Smithsonian Native Cinema Showcase and UN Women Global Voices Film festival. Her first documentary, EVEN THE WALLS, co-directed with Saman Maydani, won best short film at the Seattle International Film Festival in 2015. In 2017, she worked as the co-director and director of photography for RETORNADOS, a short film on asylum-seekers escaping violence in Honduras. The film was sponsored by a grant from the International Women’s Media Foundation.
